Not sure what that noise is but it needs investigated. How long has it been doing that? Have you adjusted your free play at the clutch perch? When was the last time you lubed the clutch cable?

I just got the bike running and on the road after it sat for 15 years. So now that I'm riding it I noticed it. The free play is fine. I plan on lubung the cables thus week

er the clutch wasn't glued shut from years of spring pressure. It might work itself out but if it gets worse then it's time to open things up and take a look.
Yep indeed.....If I pull the clutch cover off I'll do a clutch kit, upgrade the springs, put a new cable, and install a TTP Safe Start. I bought a clutch cover gasket and seals anyway a few months ago.

To my piss poor hearing it sounds a little like what we used to call the throwout bearing. Sitting up for so long may have had some affect on the race and bearings. As long as they keep turning it may polish itself out but I would still look.
