Clutch Adjustment Or Other Issue Question

From looking at this photo is it possible to determine how much wear is left in the clutch? Is it half way done or more?

It appears to be set correctly now with a few turns at the handle bar lever adjuster.

Without an actual inspection of the clutch plates there is no way of determining if it is clutch or cable wear.

Cable stretch you mean? True didn’t think of it, these issues are a bit new to me. Well, now I know what to keep an eye on. LoL. I’m thinking I’ll prepare by buying a few tools later in the year. I don’t think I have an immediate need. Inspecting it requires the same work almost as replacing it. LoL.

They are indeed easy to work on. A new cable wouldn’t be hard to do. I’m pleasantly surprised how easy this motorcycle is to work on. Granted a few special tools might help, but from what I have seen they are not extremely expensive.

After my final adjustment and measuring, marks in mm.

At no pressure.

With free play to resistance point and tweek with adjuster to between 2-3 mm.

Had a few issues on first gear on my ride. Did a slight adjustment during the ride and it seemed to help, but still had a sound a few times when releasing the clutch on first. Took another look and decided to adjust it a bit more.

I check the clutch lever gap, but guess I just didn’t notice it had gotten bigger until I checked my adjustment notes. Also noticed the little windscreen wobbles a bit at speeds over 60 mph. Went and bought some rubber washers.

Certainly hope it was just a need to adjust the clutch. LoL.
