Didn't take me as long as the Triumph, but it ended up like this:

Hi everyone! Just stopping by to say hello and to wish everyone the best for the new year!

I am really enjoying my Bonneville! It is flawless! No real mechanical problems, unless you count the squeaky rear brake..more than likely due to the caliper being out of alignment because of the mounting bracket.

I couldn't ask for a more finer machine! Smooth, fast, fun and just a beautiful bike all together. Many strangers compliment me on it. It is probably my favorite of my fleet. It is hard not to select it when I want to go for a ride, but I must ride all the others to keep gas fresh and all the other problems that occur when you let a bike sit.

So cheers and be safe!

I've been taking the Triumph out every couple weeks and it's amazing! What a fine machine!

A while back I had it out and put about 150 miles on it. I got home late in the dark and when I pulled in the driveway, I heard something fall off.. and then the bike started running a little rough.. After pulling it around back I came back over to the driveway and found the right air filter on the ground! Its amazing that it didn't fall off on the long ride.

Yesterday I had planned to go to a local bike event. I could see that one of the air cleaners had started to come off so I figured I had better correct it. I loosened up the clamp and tried to push it on, but it didn't want to slide on all the way. Then I remembered I had some different air filters, the cone shaped type. The hole was a little smaller than the round ones, but once I removed the adapter rings they fit very nice, plus with then clamping directly on the threads and being a little lighter, I am confident that they will never fall off.

I never really liked how the round K&N's fit nor did I really like the look:

I like the looks of these more and the bike seems to breath better:

This bike is really a treat. My fellow Harley riders are surprised of the off the line acceleration.. I can blow by them with no problem. I get compliments everywhere I go. At the light last night I actually had somebody in a car squeeze up next to me on the shoulder and roll down their window just to ask and compliment me on my bike. I initially thought he was pissed because he tried to race me and lost!

Yep.. definitely a keeper. I am so lucky to have it!

I hope I don't sound like I bragging too much!
