Hiya
Seeing as Sunday mother nature decided we needed some MORE water, me and DaveB went on a brekkie run Monday morning.
I got about half a km down the road when I had to start carving my way through some fog. No worries, it's pretty much a common thing in the morning in this certain patch I travel through.
50 km's later I'm still struggling to see and a couple of minutes later I'm at our meeting spot, obviously very late and noticing the sour face on DaveB sipping his coffee.
We hung around for an hour or so talking k@k and smoking waiting for the fog to lift.
It sorta did, but still not very clear.
Dave reckoned he's gonna head of home - I bravely decided to see if I could ride through to get some brekkie and more coffee. (That's just how I roll ya see!)
I got about halfway to Magaliesburg when I gave up the fight. I'm now cold, wet and hungry. Time to stop for a smoke and throw broken bottles at the passing lycra nazis. (cyclists, we have a love hate relationship)
Having used up all the bottles that I brought with me I took some time to take pics of my audience...
Some pics of mother nature doing what she loves to do...
Angie got a bit of a wash 'n go too....
Left shortly afterwards and headed back home.
You wouldn't know it - blerry blue skies and sun. pfffft.:y14:
Anyways a bad ride is better than a good day at work. (which I had to go to directly after getting home).
sigh.
