In December 2005 I decided to give myself an early Christmas present and made a down payment on a T100. It's hard to believe that it was over six years ago now :y13:
The dealer didn't have the colour I wanted, but there was one on the way on a ship on the Atlantic Ocean and would arrive in a few weeks. Three weeks later it arrived and I sealed the deal.
It was the dead of winter so I told the dealer to leave it in the crate where it was safe from bumps and bruises and I would take delivery in April.
Even though the dealership is in a small town 45 minutes from the city ( lower taxes and overhead) every 3-4 weeks I went to visit my new bike and look at it in the shipping crate.
Here is my new "horse" resting in its "stall" :y15: Bonneville.jpg

That must have been a cool way to do it Rocky, I bet that winter took it's time ending
Yes, it was a long time until April so I had to be satisfied with visits :y2:
I guess you can call that "factory fresh and still in the crate" :y2:
There was a huge Triumph cardboard box over the structure, but the dealer removed that so the bike could breathe and air out after being at sea.
Triumph does a good job of crating the bikes.

Got to visit the warehouse/ storage hanger where our local dealer keeps the cartons of Triumphs, Ducati's and Enfields awaiting assembly. What a site, really cool watching your bike being assembled
