When you talk about not trusting all the new technology it reminds me of stuff I heard my grandfather say. When hydraulic brakes came out lots of guys didn't trust those either. Same thing with fuel injection. Now those things and more are old hat and we know they're reliable and trust them. Just takes time with new tech.

I bought a 2020 T100...brand new in sept last year....I am not keen on electronics like you....but there is no choice.

The manual warns about taking care when washing to avoid spraying water around the electronics ie cover the switchgear on the handle bars and under the seat....small price to pay fur the fun I get from it....I take off the seat when washing....and cover the electrics under there.

Also block the exhausts outlets...I have little plastic bungs for that....I leave them on when parked in my cold drafty garage.....to help keep moisture out of the engine.

I am 67....if I were 10 years younger I would have bought a 60s Bonnie....but its just not practical now for me.

I am very much enjoying the bike....I have heard next to nothing about probs....they have been going since late 2016 far as I know....and prob would show by now.

I have even added a few mods to make it more in keeping with my dream bike...a 60s Bonnie.

Funny, it's not just the electronics. When I washed my 'old' 1974 Trident back in the day, I had a propensity to get water under the contacts of the kill switch. A little disassembly and drying was the fix !

It's because they've done such a nice job on building it. I have a very high regard and a lot of respect for machinery. I alway have. I always loved Nortons because they had that classic look to them. . One Harley Davidson that I really regret selling, was my old 1941 Knucklehead. I should have kept it. It was an awesome bike liked all over the place, but cool just the same. I remember that when I'd kick it over, It'd have to retard the spark, then when it was warmed up I could un-retard the spark. I remember that it sounded just like an old Singer sewing machine, The pan head I think was the best sounding Harley IMO. But, I ended up putting outside oilers on it like they did in 1963 on all the panheads after that and all the shovel heads too. But this is a triumph site, not an HD site. So, back on topic. Has anybody seen the two new T120s yet? I really like the T120 Ace a lot. It's a really nice looking bike. The T120 Diamond is cool too. But I really like that T120 Ace a lot. It's a beautiful bike.
That knuck would fetch a good price now. I know that doesnt help.
