Another Centre Stand Thread.

Hi all, first time here and first time owning a Triumph (only took me 67years to get there)
So I'd like to tap into the wealth of knowledge that exists here.
I have the chance to pick up a centre stand for my 2009 t100.
Problem is that it is for a Thruxton of the same year.
Question is, is the stand compatible with both models of the same year?

You need to find the parts number for centerstands for both models, If the numbers are the same, the answer is yes. If the numbers differ, then answer is no.

Checking TEC aftermarket they are different part numbers. Triumph Bonneville T100 Center Stand Kit

What centre stand you use depends on what you need it for. Do you plan to use when out and about - instead of the side stand? Do you only need it for servicing (chain maintenance, oil change, etc.)? I only need a centre stand on Roy for servicing, so I made one out of scrap steel that’s easy to use and doesn’t add a couple of kilos to his running weight.

Just needed for maintenance really so I opted for this: Paddock Stand Triumph Bonneville, T100, Scrambler, Thruxton as a solution that someone else here suggested.
It looks the biz so when it gets here, (UK To Perth, W.A. is usually 2-3 weeks ) so I'll report back.
