96 Thunderbird Air Filter Replacement

Hi, New to forum and don't know if it has been discussed but I'm interested in scrapping the air filter and box and replacing them with 3 individual foam filters like uni's. Has anyone done this and if so what size filters did you use.

Welcome to TT. Wish I could offer some advice to help you find what you're looking for, but alas, am not familiar with the older T'birds. Hopefully someone will be along soon that can point you in the right direction.

It's very doable; the first thing that I did on my Legend when I saw how hard it was to change filter.
If I recall they were 52MM pod filters. Plan to change carb jets to accommodate all the new air. You'll also need to fabricate a way to attach the left side cover if you plan to keep it.
