Maybe it's just me, but the profile of modern sport bikes with all that open space around the rear wheel and that flimsy tail piece just looks weird to me. I've noticed this styling trend from just about all the manufacturers.
I guess I'm just too much of a traditionalist
This is the 2013 Daytona and the following example is a KTM Duke. They're all starting to look the same.

I used to not like it but I am getting into it more but putting a pillion on them just does not work for me. They always look like they don't belong on the bike
