What other model oil pans will fit an 06 Speed Triple? I can't justify a new $450 oil pan for a $2000 bike. I'm hoping all the 2006 1050 engines use the same pan.

I found a used Oil Pan Sump T1230202 on marketplace & ordered a new gasket for the 2006 speed triple 1050, it fits like a glove. I destroyed my original sump after turning it in the wrong direction cracking the the oil pan, after days scrapping off the old stuck on gasket with a pack of a 100 plastic razor blades.
I found an alternative Drain Plug instead of using a traditional drain plug, I used a Fumoto F106SX M14-1.5 Sx Series Drain Valve. So all I have to do is set a container under it, turn the lever and the oil will drain out, then turn it to close & fill the appropriate amount of engine oil. No more issues unless the seal needs to be replaced.

Then I would recommend copper crush washers as it handles heat & pressures the best & I use Valvoline as it protects against oil thickening & design for wet clutch as this bike requires.

I could keep a spare one under the seat that uses a 6mm allen hex to tighten the bolt like a M14x1.5 Thread 304 Stainless Steel Inner Hex Round Head Oil Drain Plug & copper washer.
Also depending on how you install the Fumoto F106SX, it would not just easily open, but it will be based on how you install it it's designed to be 360 degree adjustable with clearance which varies from bike to bike being the limitation. The lever is spring loaded and locked into place and there's a plastic piece that is slotted and snaps into place, so the drain lever does not move whatsoever.
