Hi there,
I have a issue with my Tiger. On hot days or when i ride in the city, a lots of traffic lights, heavy traffic, and so on, after a while, only when the engine is hot, at stops, the oil lights come alive .
until now i ve done so far:
- change the oil from 10w40 to 10w50
- change the oil filter brand
- change the antifreeze, and flushed the cooling sistem
- change the oil pressure sensor
- change the temperature sensor on the cylinder block
....
As i ve seen this situation is very common on the Triumph brand.
Does anyone resolved, and how, this situation?

You dont say what the milage is on your bike ? as it may be wear and tear in the oil pump ,
also what brand of filter did you change too ?
77 k, the oil is Motul 5000 semisynt 10w50, and the oil filter is Champion.
I ve tried olso Hiflofilter with Castrol 10w50 and Motul 7100 10w40 full synt.
If it is the oil pump, why does it appears only at idle, and only when is very hot?

Try going back to 10w40 with the hiflofilter .... but at 77k i would say it was just general wear and tear on the oil pump , the symptoms you described are exactly what i would expect to see at that milage .
In the very hot weather at idle i would just get used to giving the throttle a blip every few seconds just to keep the oil moving around , and the bike will just keep clocking miles with no trouble .
