Any of you SS owners find a kickstand foot enlarger that fits well? Was going to make one myself but the shape of the OEM foot doesn't lend itself to secure fastening and I hate to drill the OEM stand. Thanks, jerry p.

I have one from SW-Motech that doesn't require any modifications but I have a 1200 XE. Extension - side stand foot - Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC/XE - SW-MOTECH
One thing you may have to do though is grind down any excess aluminum from the foot where the mold seam is with a Dremel. My stand had a lot of excess that they didn't bother to clean up and the Motech extension fits snugly.
I wouldn't think the shape is much different between the two. It's worth inquiring with them if it will fit.

Thanks bside,, next trip to dealer I'll trace the foot of the XE vs the SS and see if there is much difference. By the way those Dremel barrels can be had on the net for next to nothing compared to box store offering and I can't tell the difference. Amazon: Dremel sanding bands.
