Can anyone explain what each of the 5 wires is for on the headlight of a 2019 Scrambler XE? I have a wiring diagram and will try and attach it. There is a green wire, a black, a blue/white, blue/yellow, and blue/red.
I know 3 wires are needed (1 for ground, 1 for high beam, 1 for low beam) but don't understand the 5?

BL/W (Blue/White) [#1] goes to the main {high} beam relay. From there it continues to the instrument block (B - Blue) [#6].
B (Black) [#2] is ground and has many other grounds connected; it goes to the instrument block, among other places [#5].
BL/R (Blue/Red) [#3] goes to the dip {low} beam relay. From there it also goes to the instrument block (B - Blue) [#6].
G (Green) [#4} is hot and goes to both relay coils. From there it goes to the instrument block, just above position #9, among other places.
BL/Y (Blue/Yellow) [#5] goes to the instrument block [#1].

Each of your beams are routed through their own relays for protection.
Beyond that, you have ground, switched (key) power for low beam, and switched (switch/button) for high beam. 5 wires.

Thank you for that Greyfell. If I were to try and install an aftermarket headlight with only 3 wires, how would I hook it up?
