Xc Wont Start After Stall

Hi Folks - still riding my 2011 XC.
This past weekend I had an issue with the bike not starting after I stalled it.
It was 47 deg C plus in the Baviaanskloof in South Africa and the fan was running the whole time , riding not past 3rd gear due to technical nature of terrain.
Battery ran flat quickly and had to wait for a passing 4x4 to jump start.
I suspect the starter relay under the battery ...may have got wet during a water crossing now or previously..to cause low battery or could it be the fan. Conditions were extreme.

Wondering if anybody has had this before.

Give us more info. , did it overheat, have you checked for spark, out of gas, is battery still good, ect.

Hi David - gas was good , 3 month old battery , bike was hot but not overheating - fan running constantly. I had to jump start ...almost like the battery was not charging.
I opened the starter relay/solenoid.... yesterday . No corrosion on terminals , put it all back.
Bike starts ok from cold . Battery 12,6 v and 14 V when running.
Strange...
Going to look for when starter brushes need replacement ....have 40 00 km on clock ...but mostly long trips ....no commuting.

Hi David - gas was good , 3 month old battery , bike was hot but not overheating - fan running constantly. I had to jump start ...almost like the battery was not charging.
I opened the starter relay/solenoid.... yesterday . No corrosion on terminals , put it all back.
Bike starts ok from cold . Battery 12,6 v and 14,5 V when running - measured across battery terminals

OK, batt is ok and charging to the batt is good, double check the relays [all of them], while you are doing that be sure to check all of the wire connector ends, look for anything that would disrupt electrical flow.

Had your problem on my mind for a day or two, try this : get the bike started and cross your batt terminals with a ohm meter check before starting and after its running, is it charging more after its running?
