I am not going to say how i did, i was really fascinated by some of these questions, the main one was the 170 planes per day that were lost.
I thought that was a stunning stat too.
If you consider the Pacific war, the European war and the Eastern front, all together, that 170 makes more sense, though it is still a stunning number, and it can be understood that the number doesn't necessarily equate to pilots lost.
Very true, many would have hit the silk and lived to fight another day if they weren't captured by the enemy.
Yeah, we think of combat losses, but not accidents, etc. that occurred daily, here in the States and overseas.

Just think of the amount of money involved (everything included) that dealt with those 170 planes, not to mention all of the life's lost.
I also got 27/34 correct. That was an interesting quiz.
Some good questions there, I enjoyed that one.
