Me, too. But I can more easily talk my way out of a ticket for using the emergency lane that I can a ticket for splitting lanes.
Carl, I think you're going to find that FHP is really cracking down on the use of shoulders/emergency lanes ever since they passed the law about clearing the lane next to a stopped emergency vehicle. I know two friends who have received tickets for riding the shoulder/emergency lanes in the past 6 months.

Over here you can lane split in a safe manner.
If you did it at speed you would probably get pulled over.
We are also allowed to use bus lanes on motorways in most urban areas.
Over here, the majority of motorists will actually move if they can,to let you through, but then we are more courteous than gun toting over here.:y2:

Same here you will find a motorist will move to the side and give you a gap to come through.

Thanks, Kerry, point taken. TUP

I had to smile now and I am sorry I never thought to take a photo with my phone. I was stuck in heavy traffic in the car, two lanes. On the left was a narrow pavement between the road and factory walls. So I look in my side mirror and here comes this guy on his scoot riding on the narrow pavement past us all BGRIN
