What Bike Is This?

This game is very simple and it goes like this.

We start off with a photo of a motorcycle and the first person to get it right then post up the next motorcycle photo.

The correct answer would be the Make and model of the bike posted, giving the actual date would mean that you a motorcycle guru.

Looks like an MZ, but that is one strange engine

I have seen it before but and still unable to peg this one.

Well yup,it is an MZ,exactly the same model as mine ES250/Trophy2.
The difference is this is a one off prototype with a Wankel rotary engine,never put into production.

I think the one just above is a Velocette of some kind.

Rocky I am reliably informed by my best friend who is quite a Velo expert that it is,but a total bitsa.
He did give me a list of his thoughts but sadly his email has disappeared in the ether.
I will speak to him on Sunday and we can compare notes if nobody knows better by then.

It is a Velocette - Model O
This was a one off bike meant to be the production road going base for the "Roarer" race bike, a pushrod vertical twin, shaft drive and not a success (could never complete with the incomparable Triumphs) . It was produced in the late 1930's and therefore any thoughts of production would have been affected by the war.
