So it is already Christmas once again so what are your plans for Christmas then.

We normally cook up a huge lunch consisting of roast pork, gammon and a nice free range chicken. Then we have all those nice bit after consisting of a nice homemade trifle, ice cream and possibly something else to go with it.

Then it is off for a nice lunchtime nap :D

The great thing is we are able to eat cold meats and salads for days after that and being summer our side that is a huge plus.

Last year my daughter, her husband and I went to NYC for Christmas and had a great time.
This year we're staying home and will spend the weekend together.
We will spoil ourselves with lobster Christmas Eve and on Christmas day I'm taking them to a local hotel for Christmas dinner.

This year looks like all the Family will be congregating at our house for Christmas. We have 4 daughters(two out on their own, local) and two still at home. So it makes sense that my Dad and Step Mom travel here(4 hours away), and my Mother-in-Law(5 hours away) travel here so we can all be together. It should be a great time.

I'm scheduled to be on vacation, so hopefully I will be off. I think everyone will be gathering here at our house for Christmas lunch.

Kyle will be home from college, Alex also has vacation that week and will probably come home when his flight returns from Argentina, my mom usually comes over, and Kim's sister be here. My two brothers may make an appearance. One of them lives local and the other is a long haul trucker so we never know when he will make it to town.

And Dave will by in the pool updating TT

Pat and I will be at home this Christmas, we were going to go to her Mum and Dad's, but they're off to another part of the country and won't be home. We'll more than likely watch some crap TV, and fall asleep a lot. This weekend we're playing waiters and waitresses, we're both volunteering to serve the old folk Christmas dinner, at our local community centre, should be a laugh.

Mine?? To make Bob Cratchett work both Christmas Eve and Day; and to tell Jacob Marley to stop rattling those chains and be quiet or get out!! Seriously (as if I even need to say that), it's to our older daughter's house on Christmas Eve and then to our niece's on Christmas Day. Our younger daughter and her husband will be up from Florida for a week or so, making this one a special one. He also rides, so I'm hoping for a "warm, brown Christmas"; somehow, I don't think that Santa will deliver that weather, though.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, one and all: Jim

Yep, I agree that that's pretty cool down there Hemi, but you should be up here.
It's -9C (16F) here this morning.
Looks like I may have the change out of this T-shirt and short pants BGRIN
