So he wasn't caught? Traffic cop didn't want to get off bike, when he did, he dropped his bike, then spent about 20 seconds looking for the suspect.
Knowing the police in Finland, he probably was. They were simply documenting the chase evidence portion. Likely knew who owned the motorcycle. It looked like a smaller rural area where it ended. The perpetrator hid inside one of the buildings and they were simply waiting for dogs to flush him or her out. I suspect they wouldn’t force entry into the buildings until a dog pointed the way. I seriously doubt the perpetrator got away. The chase seemed rather hopeless, the motorcycle policeman whose name was Tapio was on his tail all the way to the end. There was fields around the farm buildings so he would have been spotted. It was really interesting to see Finnish scenery, a complete tour from city to rural. LoL.

Side note there were many police officers converging on the location after the chase portion ended. Not much reason for the motorcycle officer to do anything but wait. The only part I really questioned was where the road block was why didn’t they block both sides and the grass area. The perpetrator was was able to go into the oncoming lane to escape. There was an obvious radio coordination to the chase

Yes, I was watching all that. Don't like the brick buildings all that much, but have a distinctive Finnish style which is good. Liked the rural settlement.
Look like there's plenty of space on the roads, not much traffic.

The place where it ended was wood cladding. The red paint is traditional rural “punamulta” paint. It’s board and batten siding likely over older log structures. Actually noted that the other road users moved to the side with the exception of the bus at one point. If the bus driver would have turned to the right the chase would have been over and the motorcyclist likely dead.

Got to say though I wish I could have the control of that motorcycle policeman. Not surprised he laid the motorcycle down a bit after that. Soft soil and adrenaline, probably missed placing the kickstand. LoL.

Getting time for inspection! Checked, the clutch cable adjustment, tires, oil, lights, signals and misc items. Checked myself and I feel I’m ready for the short ride to the inspection station. Going to verify when the inspector will be in this week. Hopefully around Wednesday, I can take my first ride in nearly 6 months.

First time out in almost six months! Inspection done and passed. I was a bit nervous about my shoulder, but the short ride didn’t seem to a strain.

Bike looking good. Bit o' polishing physio on the cowling next...

What's the ride like with that fairing?
Yes, polishing next. Wife said it looked good from the window. LoL. The ride was a bit short, but I liked the instrumentation setup and new ignition key location. Somehow the panel lights seemed easier to read. The feel was nice from what I could tell. Minor tweaks on mirror angle perhaps, but it was such a short ride. The mirrors flip out of the way as needed. Feels like sitting in a rocket cockpit, my imaginary experience. LoL !

I did have an admirer at the inspection place, a Harley owner drove up in his truck to talk about service and we chatted a bit. He liked the look of the fairing and we talked about mods on our motorcycles.
