I forgot to watch the event live last night, but caught some of it on the national news this morning.
I'm glad he made it OK.

When I saw that this was happening yesterday, I almost took a ride up there to watch. It's not far for me at all, but I also saw there were already tons of people with blankets and lawn chairs set up and figured I would be able to get close enough to see by the time I got there.

I couldn't believe all the TV time set aside for the border crossing show, 3 hours. I don't care about the build up to the crossing, get on with the crossing.

It's the same with all the Evel Knevel want a bees. Just jump the dern thing and be on with it. I don't want to watch an hour or two of the ego build up to the event.

So, I guess he made it?
