V&A Waterfront - Cape Town

Heard that when Transnet sold off the V&A to an "arab consortium" a couple of years ago, someone didn't read the sale contract properly so together with the waterfront, the arabs also got some prime beach and 90km's of ocean reaching Robben Island. Wonder who's major faux pas that was??

It's actually 22 km's of prime sea front property, including the beach and the 90 square km's of ocean includes Robben Island, an International Heritage site. Can't wait to hear Maria Ramos's explanation on this one tomorrow.

I doubt is was a failure to read the contract properly. I would guess that someone's Swiss bank account is fatter.
