I see you say that you have a liking for "the drinking village with a fishing problem". Just to make you a bit jealous, I rode up to Oudtshoorn using the Otiniqua pass and then back down to George, using the Montique pass, Which is a dirt road. As I came back into Mosselbaai,I saw several whales in the harbour!
How often do you come down? Do you bring your motorbikes with when you come down?

Hey DirtBoy - we're now positively green with envy and I have no doubt Farside and BignDaft are going to jump in here sometime today.
We fly down for weekends quite often but it's a bit far to ride from Jhb to MB for a weekend. We bring the bikes down for long holidays like December and Easter. BnD, Littleloon and Farside generally ride down and I've trailered my bike cause I have to take the young one and ALL the luggage down.
We'll definitely be down for December for a month or so. PM me with you contact details and we'll definitely get in touch. Penny & Sugarman might also be in the area in December so there's a very strong possibility of at least 5 or 6 T riders to link up with. :y115:

I have to admit that we tend to add to that problem when we're down there. Farside & BnD have been known to drink a few pubs dry of Windhoek drafts! Littleloon and I are far too much of ladies to make our names tortie down there. Mojitos excluded!
