My bike is a 2008 Triumph America EFI. I have downloaded the latest version of Tuneecu to my laptop. I have bought the recommended usb cable (not a cheap one) and the drivers are installed ok. I can READ the map which is 20184 from my bike ok. The first time I did it it took 20 minutes but if I READ it now with the map already opened in the laptop it only takes around 3 minutes. So all of that sounds good......But here is my problem. A while ago I plugged the AI to try to fix popping back and snatchiness at low throttle. This cured the popping but the snatchy throttle still persists. When I plugged the AI, I left all the hardware in place as I did not have Tuneecu at the time. Now I want to disable SAI and the O2 sensors in the ecu. I've been told via forums I can disable O2 as an experiment for a short while without removing it from the pipes as I have not got plugs for the holes yet. However when I READ the map, untick those 2 parameters and try to DOWNLOAD (to the bike) I get the message that this map is not compatible with this ecu. Strange, as I have just read it from the bike. I have tried saving the map, before and after unticking, different file names, closing the program and re-opening it and I still get the message. I also have the bike battery connected to my charger so it reads 14 volts and the laptop connected to its charger also. So I have done all the things you are going to advise me to do. I have read heaps of forums and the Tuneecu user manual over and over. I have also detailed the above in a message to Tuneecu but have not got a reply yet. Has anyone else had this problem and how do you overcome it?
