Triumph Dealer

I just rode past what was our local Triumph dealer this morning and see it is now Suzuki Dealer. So it seems we don't have a Triumph dealer in our city and the sad thing is I live in one of the bigger cities this side. I think this came about when Triumph changed their operating rules for dealers some time back as at that time we also lost our Triumph importer. This was later taken over by another bike importer.

So I must admit if I were thinking about getting a new bike soon it would have to be a Honda as I have always ridden Honda all the years and have had great experiences from them.

I think this might also have something to do with why we lost our Triumph dealer in this province last year.
The nearest dealer is in the province to the north of me - about three hours away.

I think the nearest one to me now would be around 8 hours away.

We lost 1 of only 2 dealers ( in our state) last year and i don't think the last dealer is doing very well, they sell Indian, Yamaha and a bunch of other brands. This place is very big and makes its money on 4-wheelers, camping, i can't even remember what all they sell, they are always changing. I don't see how Tri. will be able to stay in business unless things change competition is tough!

And Triumph has just introduced that new 1200 Scrambler at $14,000.00 US.
That's really getting up there in price. I hope it takes off for them.
