Yesterday we enjoyed our annual event; held later this year so that the new models could be displayed in this country for the first time. The upgraded 1200 Adventure.

The stately T120.

Undoubtedly the star of the show was the 1200cc Thruxton R; so compact and with impressive detailing.

I only recently got my Daytona back from the dealer following a lengthy repair & rebuild exercise following the crash we had back in September last year. I was just happy to have my bike back!

I really like the looks of the T120 and the 1200cc Thruxton R, it would be hard to select one of the two if I were in for a new bike.

Ignoring the fact that I can't afford any of these new bikes for a moment-

Much as I dig the T120, my Tiger 800 is a more versatile machine and a better tourer and I couldn't replace my Daytona with a 100hp twin!
