I suspect that 1974 Ducati is actually an S and not a SS. First big give away is rear drum brake, SS's have Lockheed disc.

That's a big show and some great bikes, I'd love to come over some time but my wife just won't travel.
 
I've been corrected by another friend from the Bevelheads forum- yes, you are absolutely correct.

Should anybody be unaware; genuine Ducati 750SS bikes in good condition can be worth in the region of US$ 100,000!

Sorry to be picky but I have a bit of a thing and very mixed feelings about them.
I had one from new, sold in 1984, photo take at first outing on it.
