Tiger 1200 Keyless System

Salesperson said that the Triumph topcase is keyless... Does anyone know if the lock on the box is actually keyless? Looking to purchase one if it truly unlocks when in range. Thanks

The Metal cases I saw in the showroom required a key. It was one key for all cases and gas cap. If the key fob was near the bike you turned a switch and fired it up. That was a 2018 model Tiger 1200 XCA.

Thank you. That is what I was thinking, but she was talking about programming the key to the case. I think it was just an honest mistake. I had already purchased the bike and was talking accessories.

There are keyless cases but they use a number combination lock like some suit cases .
