I am glad Indian is back and I hope they are successful. But the prices are a little steep.
There is supposed to be something about the Indian unveiling on the History Channel tonight during the American Pickers show. At least that is what I think I heard.

Just a bit, and in this seemingly never ending recession brave, or some would say stupid to price at that price bracket. But I like you, hope that they make a go of it. They certainly look nice bikes
The Indians are definitely iconic. If I were in the market for a V twin cruiser, I would give them a serious look.
Indian doesn't always seem to have the best timing. But then again if the recession eases up they could be sitting pretty. Might be hard to win over the current cruiser crowd but the others coming into the market could spur the growth they need to make a go of it.

Love the old school style of Fenders, Tanks and all of the cosmetics back then. One thing I am not sure of though is the engine itself as it looks to use the same Oil through out the entire Unit. I just cannot quite get into that. It is just one huge Unit now. I would prefer the separate Tranny as the older Units ran. I think the Victory runs that same configuration. They used the same engineering team I read. Price? At least they did come down to about $19k but no average guy is going to be able to afford one.
Most all engines are unit construction today. Make them more simple, less expensive to build and maintain.
