(and for all of the young whippersnappers on this Forum - as Carl might refer to them - the black thing in the video is called a "R E C O R D" and t is being played on a "P H O N O G R A P H", an instrument for reproducing sounds by means of the vibration of a stylus or needle following a spiral groove on a revolving disc or cylinder. from the Greek. phono- "sound" + -graphos "writing, writer."

Al. That is a great photo. TUP

I agree, nice looking bike. I sat on a mates T Bird on Monday and figured if the foot rests were a bit further back and the seat was a bit higher I'd seriously coinsider one. I've had a number of offers to ride one and always say no thanks because I'm not into foot forward bikes but I'm coming around, slowly.

I never was into the foot forward story either but after a day riding it seems all natural now, I would also say if you get a chance go for it as I would love to hear your take on the bike. It sure is a good looker TUP

+1 I enjoyed my two test rides on the T-Bird. I may be tempted down the road. I think it would pull a hack very well.

Yeah I'm not into foot forward controls either "Otherwise", but (being 5'10") I never thought they were too far forward. If you get the "Long Haul seat" as its called in Aus' its beefier in padding, that might lift u up a bit....

I'm on the short side of average height, 5' 7.5" so 2.5" shorter than you. When I suggested a higher seat I was getting at a T Bird that's a bit more like a bigger Bonneville.
I will get around to testing one but for now I'm still in love with my Street Triple R. The down side of the Street Triple is they are rubbish to carry a pillion, my wife refuses to get on.
