Hi guys
My beloved Triumph let me down.
It was running like a dream, parked it in my garage as usual, 3 days later geared up, keys in ignition, all the usual lights came on, pulled in the clutch lever in, pressed the start button
no start .The engine turned over slowly once acting like a flat batt was the problem .Gave it a moment tried again same thing happened .
the Battery was bought ,charged ,and fitted on the 29/12/20 it will be 10 months old on the 29 of October this year its always started the bike no probs. So left the bike on its usual Oxford Oximiser battery management system until I return home this Sunday .The Bike has always been serviced and smothered in attention coz its me baby . When I return home on Sunday I will take note of the voltage before doing anything else .When I attempted to start the bike before it let me down I noticed the voltage was a bit low but tried it anyway it sat at 12.1 volts it dropped down to 10.4 volts under load which is not going to start the bike the voltage is visible due to having a Din to USB plug in duel outlet and voltage indicator adaptor, thats sits in the front dc outlet that charges my phone when I ride. On the go it reads a steady 14.2 volts so charging is not a issue. A sudden failure of a well maintained battery is a puzzle assuming its is the battery . Would like your guys thoughts about dianosis and your exsperiance if any on this issue.
