Howdy all, Musicman here, I started riding in 1966, on a hand me down Indian that I could not pick up when it went down, and, as I lived in the country with gravel roads it did frequently. All the neighbor farmers were kind enough to help me get it back up, laughing at me and telling me I was crazy all the while. I did eventually trade it for a 1946 Chevrolet sedan, not nearly as fast or neat, but, it had a roof and never fell over. I went to the U.S. Air Force in 1968, Vietnam, was in explosives and serviced the B-52 bombers.
After my overseas duty I started riding BSA 441 Victors and then the 500 Victor till the end of BSA. Got out of the Air Force and bought my Trident T150V, ID T150VNJ41464 which was still in a crate from England. The shop I hung around was in Lake In The Hills Illinois and I even got conned into helping put this thing together, there may have been some beer involved. I have had the machine ever since and tried to take very good care of it. The cases have never been apart and the clutch has been adjusted 3 times, carbs rebuilt 1 time. I recently titled it to my son, so he will not have trouble when I die. I am currently adjusting the clutch and doing service on the machine and....after all these years I just realized there is no sight plug in the chaincase, the boss is there but was never drilled and tapped. I guess the factory forgot. Well that is my story.
