Hey all-
Just got in a TEC tail tidy kit from Moto Richmond- wanted to post some pics of the first (hopefully of many) mods.

Initial thoughts:
Aesthetics: looks solid
Quality: the plate is of solid construction, however the supplied hardware could use some work, might be looking at getting some longer fasteners for the front to bolts.

I have aftermarket turn signals and the supplied wiring harness isn't long enough to reach. Might be looking to buy some heat shrink and some wiring connections to help tidy it up, perhaps even cutting in the stock wiring harness... not sure yet.

Price is $130 compared to New Rage ($200+?), it's cheaper, and I've heard the fitment isn't always consistent....

I like it so far, as I don't mind having to do cleanup in the winter months. 8/10

Thanks, and relatively easy. Only issue was the hardware. It all bolts up nice but there's not a lot of thread coming out of the nuts. Would prefer to see at least 2-3 turns showing. It does say that hardware might be required, and I would prefer the company provide, but the price is kinda what keeps it at an 8/10 for me

I hate a kit that you still need to find extra stuff to be able to compleate it. Normally the one thing you need is the one thing you do not have onhand and then it is a battle to find it.

Installed this a month ago. The hardware sucks. The connectors don't match the Triumph harness and the supplied wiring does not reach the harness either. Its not a difficult thing for TEC to supply proper connectors or length....but

I ordered some motorcycle connectors on line and rigged a harness to tidy everything up.
Overall the tail tidy is very well made and looks great when installed.

Lanner-- my sentiments exactly. I'm thinking about getting some thin black conduit to hide the wiring-- clean it up a bit.

Awesome bike and pics though. Where'd you get the seat?

Thanks Edawg. The seat is the Triumph Bench seat. I got it when I bought the bike from dealer. Still have the stock seat and sometimes I switch back and forth but mostly prefer the look and feel of the bench.
