Thought I would share simple upgrade done. I was having issues with the brake light going on intermittent with the front brake level. Pulled plastic piece off, sanded metal parts from corrosion, cleaned up pin which pushes off the contact, all with no luck. I believe the plastic to be just to aged which pin installs at angle hitting housing and the assembly has some flex which causes intermittent issue.
Found on the forum that others were doing an upgrade using brake pressure from another Triumph model. I didnt want to pull all my brake lines apart especially since having one piece custom lines installed.
What I did was found online a small normally closed micro switch which with bending connectors it fits in housing. Soldered connectors on, used dremel to reduce height of plastic spacer/screw plastic in brake level to fit height I was looking for. Now modern day front brake switch!
