Not a Triumph owner yet but working on it. I currently have a Harley Heritage but a back issue has me looking for a bike with more of a standard sitting position. Plus I've always had a thing for Triumphs!

Welcome from sunny North Texas. I've already replied to the debate on new v old. You might also consider a used Trident 660. They are new enough to have the latest tech and not a lot of mods done to it so less sketchy with the maintenance. Try sitting on one at the dealer and see if it's an alternative.
