Had a short run out to a mate's place today.
I pulled up behind one of his Triumphs and had to take this shot.
Two "superbikes" from slightly different times.

I only see ONE superbike in those photos......the other one has saddle bags!!!

I know the rocket is over 3 times the capacity, but its also a huge bike next to the classic.

Yeah, my mate had one of the first out and after a couple of years changed over to a 1050Tiger. Last year he just missed the R3 so much that he kept the Tiger for day to day riding and got that new R3 for weekends.

Those R3's are huge. Whats really odd is the Tbird looks tiny compared to it yet weighs almost the same ! I think it's due to the crank which is said to be even beefier than the R3's. But still.....in a side by side pic the bird looks 1/3 smaller. I rode a R3 too and it felt as huge as it looks.
