Mine is a 2005 with 9500 miles on the clock. The front brake lever is coming in to the bar since being put back on the road after lockdown. I have bled the brakes and checked the pads but no difference. Any suggestions what to do next? There are no leaks, no bulges in the hoses and everything is in good condition.

Is the front brake working when you pull the lever in? You might try pulling the lever in all the way and tying it there over night. Release it and see what you have the next morning. I am assuming that you have the correct level of brake fluid in the master cylinder.

I've heard of this on the Thunderbirds after storage. If you have a non ABS then bleed the brakes, for ABS models you have to hook up to Dealer tool to bypass the ABS system to bleed the brakes. If this doesn't help then a master cylinder rebuild should be next.

^This. Happened to mine after Winter hibernation. Was on the rear but a trip to dealer(unfortunately) cured the issue. They had to open the valves in ABS to correctly bleed brakes and change fluid.
