Tony's method is fine for off road riding. I would not want to depend on it for high speed road road riding. I will use Slime if I need it; but I will replace the tube ASAP.

That is Slime pretty much recommends, as a repair only, for high speed over the road application.

But what about Ride On? Have any of you tried it? From reviews I have read, it seems to be a much better preventative product than Slime.

I don't disagree with that. What had me interested in the Ride On product, was the precautionary idea of it preventing rapid deflation in the event of a puncture. But beyond that, I would be wanting a new tube ASAP as well.

That would definitely be a plus. If it would work, that would be well worth it.

I thought it was interesting that the Ride On product is TPMS friendly as well. Not that I have TPMS on my bike, I still found it interesting that it doesn't clog or interfere with it. They also offer a Tire Coverage program along with the Ride On installation. Free for one year, then I don't know what they charge after that.

But I have yet to talk to anyone first hand who has tried it, or has any experience with it after something has punctured the tire.
