I like the looks of those Shinko's. I wanted to try them on my Tiger; but Shinko did not make an 804/805 to fit my front rim at the time. So I went with Metzeler Karoo 3's. The Karoo's look much like the Shinko's. Your Scrambler is beautiful. Let us know how you like the Shinko;s.

Thank you for the compliment. A few more mods and it will be done.

Only got to ride it home from my buddies shop so far due to my schedule. It was in the misty spit rain so I went real real slow through the turns. Got them home and took some coarse sand paper to the tires for a lil scruff and then used Simple Green cleaning product which is an amazing de-greaser so the tires feel ready for the roads and not slippery.

Speaking of Scrambler Mods.......Question for anyone who cares to answer.

My next two mods will be.......

1) Cutting off the exhaust far back eye hole that comes off the subframe. As seen in this pic. My TEC exhaust does not use it and I have no plans to go back to a stock exhaust. Anyone done this?

2) Finding someone who makes a decal/emblem/Sticker in black that covers the Scrambler 900 one. (As seen in these pics).
Anyone done this?

Love the meatier look of the new tires. The front is higher so the turn in into the corners does feel strange to me at this moment. Not "Falling" in bit feels like "sliding" in right now. A quick butt pucker for a few turns.

I put a center stand on my new 1200 XC as a winter mod . It was an OEM part on my 1970 BSA 650 Scramble back in the day. I'll say this, I have to learn the new skill of pulling this boat anchor up onto the stand.

There is definitely technique involved. It took me a while to learn the best way for my Tiger 800 XC.

When you rev the bike does the red light change colour to green? Only thing I thought it could be with a small light is a voltage monitor buts it’s a daft place to put one.
