Checked all the connections, tested the brand new bulb and still no turn signal rechecked all the connections, tested new bulb again
same result. Everything is working except for the left front turn signal and gas gauge. I can live without the gauge but I have to have the turn signal DANG IT!!!! So go thru it all again. . . STILL NO TURN SIGNAL!!! Noticed two connections I didn't check but they appear to be good solid connections but checked them anyway. STILL NO TURN SIGNAL!!! Looked at the connections again, disconnected and checked with the meter, getting voltage/not getting voltage/getting voltage/not getting voltage/getting voltage/not getting voltage
it's a turn signal ya idiot!!! Disassembled the turn signal and found the connections to the socket laying in the bottom of the housing. Connected leads, turned to place back in the housing and the leads fell off again. I little REDNECK ENGINEERING on the connectors and I have turn signals.
Rolled Betty out of the garage to go get the inspection and photo. . . The wind dang near blew me over! The way my day has gone, I think I'll wait until tomorrow before I venture out.
