Nice one Don
when I called it, I figured a taxi stand would be an absolute doddle for anyone, yet it's bin one of the slowest to go.

I really was somewhat reluctant to go back to the airport. Had to pickup my wife last Saturday and the aforementioned Police Officer was "fixing" a traffic situation. There were some horrible law-breaking motorists who had to be straightened out. His efforts really balled up passenger pickup and I was given a stern warning for driving irresponsibly..........

Thanks Don, I tried to head down to the airport last week but when I hit I-45 all 5 lanes south were stopped and I wasn't brave enough to tackle that traffic.

Well Tony, I wouldn't call that "traffic". Sounds more like a parking lot!!!!

I was just glad to find less traffic at the airport this last Saturday than the week before.... :TUP

I reckon Olive Garden would qualify, but was looking for something of a more "local" flavor Mom & Pop (or Mama and Papa as the case may be).
Reminds me of the best Italian place we had in Key West ---it was owned and run by a family from Ukraine---go figure.
Key West was an amazing melting pot, you could stand in line at the Publix and hear Russian, French, Spanish, Italian, Patois Slang (Jamaican) and English all being spoken right around you at the same time:y2:

Go get a big bowl of pasta fagioli and snap a pic. LoL.

Good one Adrian!!!

Likely, it won't be me. Headed out of town for work in the morning and next weekend I'm traveling to Mom's for my monthly trip to check on her.

Not much bike time in there. (we do have our fair share of "independent" Italian restaurants in this area though) :ohwell:

I don't think you watched the whole video clip Adrian.....

The last thing I did was latch the tour box on top.....

I do have a nice drybag for the passenger seat.....

The problem is I require my laptop and a full-sized briefcase with all of the papers and banking paraphernalia that goes with each trip....

The good news is that the forecast is clear!!!

Man.......memory is a strange thing. I went back and re-watched and darn it yes a TOP TRUNK appears :y10: Totally lost track of that, was to busy typing about Tiger sounds, sorry.
Clear is good but yes you have a bunch of stuff to haul. And if your side cases are like mine they are not 100% water proof, if the "clear" changed to wet.
Better safe than sorry for sure. Hope you have a safe trip.
We'll keep the light on for you.:y2:

What???

The sidecases leak?

Bummer! Guess I need some smaller drybags!

Ok, not Italian enough. . . how about this one

Ok, that one is to Italian as Taco Bell is to Mexican Food

Supposedly they have good Italian food here, I don't know if they do or not as their pizza tastes like Chef Boyardee to me but a former co-worker said they were "Real" New York pizzas.

Just "slightly" in heavy rain......I think I read an upgrade or "fix" on another forum about replacing the seals so they seat a little better. ITs not a deal breaker for me as I use the "Glad Bag" luggage system anyway. :y2:
