Cool posts TUP
I remember all those things, and believe it or not, I still have an 8-track out in my garage :y13:
It's a combo FM radio/tape/turntable stereo system with large speakers and has great sound. I bought it circa 1971.
When it became obsolete it was stored away for many years, but after I got back into motorcycles in 1992 and spend more time in my garage, I dug it out and set up the tuner and speakers so I can enjoy the radio in stereo when I'm servicing my bikes.

I was born and raised on a farm with few modern conveniences. We had a hand pump in the kitchen for running water and only an outhouse. It wasn't until after the war that we had running water
I remember well the wash tub and scrubbing board; the crank telephone; the ice cream maker and an ice box.
I also remember well my father and hired hands cutting ice blocks from a nearby lake and hauling it to our ice house by horse and wagon and covering it in mounds of sawdust so it wouldn't melt.
Carl, my son-in-law is nuts over anything Coca Cola and has quite a collection. He would drool over that Coke cooler.

Donroger1. What are the objects with the radio ? Documentation? One has a lot of holes in it??

I believe they are simply desktop props for the advertisement. I enlarged the photo and still can't make out what the papers are......

I found the photo using a Yahoo Image Search.

Sorry that I am not better help.....
