Had the update done. Apparently if you're an owner that uses full lock frequently there is a possibility that the wirhing harness may rub. The recall add a small shield to protect. It takes about 40 minutes.

My 2019 SS, which I bought new in June of this year, already has a protector of some sort installed around the vin plate. Did your bikes have nothing around that plate previously or did they put a different type of protector around the plate with the recall? Just wondering if mine had been done when I bought the bike. Thanks.

I think That’s the recall I am hoping to receive for my Thruxton . The wiring loom is definitely wearing out the vin # sticker and apparently setting off abs / tc lites , my issue . Made some small changes yesterday, hopefully will help . Please keep us informed on any developments as it would appear this will be a common problem on water cooled twins . Mine didn’t fail until it had 10 K km or so on it .
