Most TR-6s in the US came with steel disc wheels....the wires were a $800.00 option (in 1960's prices).

PS: those eared knock-off centers were made illegal here at the time...it came with a wrench style center....someone watched Ben Her too much!

That poor TR-6 of mine hasn't turned a wheel in about 10 years now. I do have it properly stored with no weight on the tires, etc. But it's kind of sad looking now with a layer of dust on it
