Well boys, (girls look away now) I got the results for my PSA blood test, also my doctor and I now have a special relationship BLUSH, the old finger up the not to be mentioned area. Happy to report all's OK.
It looks like I may be around for a while so I decided to lash out in a little celebration. I've got a thing about boots and always fancied a pair of Top Boots so being a fan of my elastic side RM Williams boots stuck with the local product.

These are called "The Executive" silly price but I'm happy.

I've had these "Craftsman's" for about 8 years.

And I've had these "Craftsmen's" for about 12 years.

They actually look a lot better on than those photos show, they are very very comfortable.

So if you are 50 or over get out and have the PSA test every year and every second year smile and wink at your doctor :y15:

Have the full test every year it is a must.

Those boots still look in very good condition for being 8 years old, like the new ons very nice as well. I use safety boots heavy but well worth it. I still have a few boxes that I have not even opened yet so I a good for a few years still :y2:

I had the old finger wave today as well, my annual physical. I am happy to report all is well.

I like your new boots. TUP I am most definitely a boots person.

So that's 3 out of 3 telling the rest of you blokes to get out and get tested.
My doctor said, "As long as you don't like it I'll keep testing you".:y2:

Kevin those look very nice my ones are move like your 8 year old style but with the thick laces up the front with studs. These ones

Some on that page look real good. I don't have to worry about OH&S these days so the steel caps are a no no. They didn't make us ride with steel but indoor staff had to use the caps.

Those "Craftsman" boots look like "Beatle boots" of the early '60s!

You forget it still is the early 60's in Australia.:y2:

RM Williams was an icon in Australia and his company is still going strong supplying high quality boots, clothing and equestrian accessories to country people and trendy city types. Craftsman boots cost $390, you can have them made to order from Ostrich leather starting from $2,000. My new Executives were $780, clearly not a throw away product but very comfortable and durable.
They tell me that Ringo Star is still on his first pair.:y15:

The Chelsae boot looks very similar, the RM's are made from one piece of leather, only one join, up the back. We can get a similar boot to the Chelsae from budget outlets for about $25. Elastic side boots are popuar in Australia because we have difficulty with complex taske like tying shoe laces.:y2:
