I've just bought some bits for my bike online from a site in the USA and I must say that you guys are jacked up when it comes to customer service. :y115:

Seconds after my purchase I get updated via email.

Just gotta sit back and wait for it to arrive now.

last item I bought was a Norman Hyde rear set from New Bonneville .com
Belgian customs held it for a month and I had to pay over 30 % taxes.
Quit expensive rear set. :y49:

I've become a big online shopper - especially when it comes to searching for parts for vintage bikes.
I shop in Canada, USA, England, New Zealand, Australia, and anywhere I can find that needed item on the internet.
More than 50% of the time the items come straight to my door with no customs duties. Those times I do get hit for duties I figure it all evens out.

When you say "jacked-up".....do you mean that it's good or bad?

I seems like you are happy, yet young people here in the States use the term "jacked-up" in a negative sense like: "screwed-up" or "epic fail".

My Son uses it all the time.....such as "you're bike is really jacked-up", meaning "it's a disaster".

I've been using Northern Eagle out of Canada for my a lot of my classic Triumph parts. He's a lot less expensive than some of the US dealers, and shipping is maybe a day longer. I highly recommend them. They really keep you up to date with your order, and they take Paypal so you don't have to broadcast your C.C. numbers.
I have also had excellent luck with a few companies in Australia and New Zealand, but those were for parts for my skeeter killers (aka 2 strokes).

Carl, you are most welcome!
Coincidently, I just got a shipping notification from them about some parts I ordered this weekend. They are on the ball! They even sent me a refund for shipping because I placed two seperate orders and he combined them. You can't beat that!

Remember we are the nation that rides on the wrong side of the road :y114: so for us the term mean very good or they have it all together :y18:
