Hi, folks. I've been riding off and on for nearly 50 years (almost all Hondas, ending with a Gold Wing), but life has led me to the Triumph world, and I've become heavily invested over the past year or so.
Don't need to bog things down with the whole story here, but the bottom line is that I'm now the owner of a '20 T120 Black and a '20 Scrambler XE. Long story.

Anyway, am thrilled with both of them and look forward to learning the ins and outs of things here, as well as sharing what I've learned and done in a relatively short time. I'm not afraid to tinker, adjust and accessorize, but am not really a full-blown "wrencher" either.

Hope to become familiar with some of you and your experiences and stories and look forward to your friendly advice!

Sounds a lot like me. My Scrambler XE is also my first Triumph.

Welcome to the forum.

You're braver than I! After being away from the two-wheeled world for over a dozen years, I dipped my toe in by getting a new (leftover) 2018 Vespa 300GTS, which is a hoot and which I still have.
However, that simply turned into a "gateway bike" for me, and I soon longed for something more like I had back in the days of my first bike - a 1974 Honda CB 360!
I'd always liked the looks of the classic Bonnies, but was also sort of vaguely aware of some of their "issues" during the 80s/90s (or at least their alleged issues), so I stuck with my Hondas (V-Twin, Valkerie, Gold Wing).
The Vespa somehow led me back to a Triumph showroom, and, last year, in the height of the pandemic and awaiting hip replacement surgery, I bought a new (leftover) 2019 T100, in that beautiful Blue/White paint scheme. Loved it, but just wanted a bit more hustle (and a 6th speed), so I found myself test-riding a Bobber earlier this Spring (didn't fit my 6'5" frame), but the T120 engine/drive train had me hooked.
So, I spied a new (leftover - see the pattern?) T120 Black, and a deal was done.
Trouble was, now I had two essentially identical bikes (paint and mechanicals notwithstanding), and the T100 became expendable.
As luck would have it, my local shop had a new (and I mean ZERO miles) '20 Scrambler (leftover) and a deal was done.
They're both so great and yet so different - I've settled into a happy place!
