Odd little bike at the pub

Sharron and I took a run out for lunch (in the car) today. We ended up at Kangaroo Valley about 1 hour from home, this took my eye. It was parked on the footpath in front of the pub, I think it's just there as a conversation piece.
A neat little two stroke with pedals, so I guess that makes it a moped.

I just did a quick search.
Looks like a 1950 "James Superlux Autocycle" 98cc.

Wouldn't like to have to pedal that very far. Looks like it weighs a ton.

I remember James 2 strokes being still n the road when I was a teenager. I guess that makes me old!

When I was a child some guy in town had one of these pedal type bikes and I thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen

Cool find, Kevin. I remember mopeds very well. I never owned one; but I rode several. I don't recall seeing a James though.
