Firstly I had a quick run into Wollongong and parked in one of those motorcycle only (no charge) spots. This took my eye parked next to me.

Look a little closer, if that chain gets any looser it'll drag on the ground. SAD

Then when riding back into my driveway this little bloke was spotted having a sleep on our power lines. Well I think he's sleeping. :y13: It's unusual to spot one not in a pack with hundreds or thousands of his mates. If he's still there at nightfall I'll call the wildlife rescue people.

you keep that sucker down there man did you leave a note for old mate

Didn't have paper and pen to leave a note but I observed two things other than the chain, "P" plate (meaning new rider) and the complete bike requires attention so I think a note would have been a waste of time had I been able to leave one.

Don't you have flying foxes up your way? I figured they would be all over the east coast. We get them flying over early evening in thousands.

Kevin how big is that thing as he looks huge :y13:

Not too big, just 0.375mtr long.
Unfortunately when I went out to have another look for you he was on the ground, not breathing. I've started the forensice report with a photo and measurement. I'll put the body on ice and send off to CSI Hollywood Studios.
Poor little bloke, his time was up. Black arm bands for TT members this weekend.

It's interesting to watch the unexpected direction a thread can take. I figured the first, well actually second photo would get a little conversation going but the third photo got a bit of a run.
Now get outside and adjust and oil your chains, and then put the nets over your fruit trees, it's getting dark and the fruit bats are on the way, just one less tonight. CRY

The owner of that bike obviously knows nothing about maintenance. Not only does the chain need adjusting, it looks like a little chain lube is in order. I think he needs a new chain and sprockets. That rear sprocket looks well used. My guess is he has never lubed it nor adjusted it.

ROTFL Whats this thread about???????????? Oh yes. Poor guy, we call them "newbs" or "newbies" around here. Some call them "squids". I guess when the chain falls off he will learn a costly (hopefully not to painful) lesson. Shame to see a bike neglected.
Too bad about the cute little critter.
