It was a very interesting read. Looks like it was an Air National Guard training flight with no nuclear anything on board. I hope they are able to find some trace of it.
Of course the GOVERNMENT won't owe up to what was on board. It's hard to believe a bomber could disappear and evade detection for 50 years in a RIVER!!?? Then again, there was no life in those rivers from all the pollution until the 1970's when they began cleaning up the damage it had done. I can recall when the steel mills would dump molten (yellow-hot) slag right into the rivers....it was quite a sight to see at night. It would make the river boil and steam like crazy.
