Love the bike......looks classic and perfect. (I would NEVER own one but respect the effort) or at leas I did.

I am looking for OPINIONS HERE....yes I know thats sketchy ground.....but I NEED to know if I am just nuts (yes, yes, yes don't answer that) or if....after all the smoke and mirrors of a Canadian (no offense to Canadians) company masquerading as an "American Company"---yes yes the bikes ARE made in Iowa.......I know......."BUT" the $ all goes to Polaris (not that theres anything wrong with that)

Damn yes I am GETTING to the question. Here is a pic of the new Indian.

Great Vintage look amazingly Authentic styling.

BUT then..........LOOK AT THIS!!!!!!!!!!! in the below pic. A computer Icon push button starter on the dash.......RUINED!

So my question is .............................is this goofy looking computer control type push button TOTALLY ruining the vintage "Americana styling" ?????? Or am I just being "picky"????

I like it, the only thing is, I'd like to wait and see how it turns out for reliability....... If I could afford it...... which I can't now anyway.CRY

I am partial to water cooled bikes so that might be my one beef with it or most any V twin.

who cares about some poxy button when ya got tassels.:y2:

I guess ya got me there Devo. Touchee.

However I wounder if it makes the Windows Start sound when you hit the button???? I think it is a total fail.....such detail to the "War Bonnet" and Fenders and all......and then "the button".....ugh Do they think 20 year olds will be buying these?
